The eWOCE Gallery contains more than 350 section plots of temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients and tracers for the WOCE Hydrographic Programme (WHP) cruise tracks. The World Ocean Circulation Experiment, WOCE, was the largest internationally coordinated oceanographic programme ever conducted. It provides global ocean observations of unprecedented extent and quality for the decade from 1988 until 1998.

eWOCE Gallery plots are available for the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, and Southern Ocean. To view a particular plot, choose an ocean basin, move the mouse over a cruise designator and click on the property you want to see. You can also access the section plots via tables (recommended for browsers without JavaScript capabilities). Use your browser's 'Back' button to return to the overview maps or tables if you want to select another property section.

The plots were produced using the Ocean Data View (ODV) software together with the WoceBtl dataset compiled for ODV.  ODV is available for Windows, Linux, Solaris, Irix, and Mac OS X platforms. ODV data collections are platform independent.
